Arsenal Told To Pay 30 Million If They Want To Sign Dortmund Midfielder In January

Arsenal have been told they must be willing to pay as much as 30 million and not 25 million as been widely reported if they want to stand any chance of signing Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan. Arsenal are thought to be interested in signing the high rated German with reports of an enquiry made for him in the last transfer window which was turned back by Dortmund.
Wenger’s insistence on signing the player has made Dortmund tell him they will only listen to an offer of at least 30 million pounds. According to various reports including daily mirror, daily mail, daily star, express and many others, Arsenal intend to go back to Dortmund with a bid for the defensive midfielder in January.
Aside Ilkay Gundogan, Wenger is also interested in signing Marco Reus from Dortmund and may be willing to make a double swoop in the January transfer window.
With all the rumours, it seems Wenger is taking the January window serious and is already preparing his moves for the January window which is a plus considering leaving things late contributed to Arsenal not signing a striker in the just concluded summer transfer window.
