window and we've not seen any other signing at the club apart from
France International Yaya Sanogo who arrived at Arsenal from Auxerre
on a free transfer at the beginning of the transfer window.
The club have left so many fans in a frustrated state as it seems the
old thing will still happen as we have just a few days to the end of
the transfer window and no signings are coming in.
However, Arsenal manger Arsene Wenger has promised the fans several
times that the club will make some player signings before the summer
transfer window ends. The question so many fans ask themselves is that
"how true could this be" having seen Wenger say such statements in the
past only to bring in players who the fans don't really see as major
signings.
I personally think this season will be a different one...I just have
that feeling that top players will come in....Below are the players I
feel could be latest Arsenal signings in the next few days.
The first is Yohan Cabaye of Newcastle United who has refused to play
two games for his club due to Arsenal's late bid for him a day before
the start of the 2013/14 season two weeks ago.
It looks as if Arsenal's bid has gotten into the player's head and is
looking forward to a possible move to the Emirates Stadium.
Some sources also say that Mathieu Flamini could also be signed as
talks are currently going on. Flamini who left Arsenal on a free
transfer to AC Milan in 2008 has been training with the Arsenal team
for some weeks and news sources say Wenger could give him a chance at
the club.
I see these moves as 90% possible.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Real Madrid duo Karim
Benzema and Angel Di maria.
Although reports say that Benzema's agent has ruled out a move to
Arsenal as he says his client is remaining with Real this
season...It's not yet over until transfer deadline day when it comes
to player signings so I don't want to believe in that news. Maybe his
agent is just trying to make things difficult. I still believe a deal
could still be agreed.
The arrival of Gareth Bale at Madrid which looks almost done could put
a question mark on Di maria's future, therefore the club will consider
selling him to any club who is interested. Arsenal have anyway benn
linked with a move for Angel Di maria and I believe he could also be
an Arsenal player in a few days from now.
Reports also suggest that Arsenal could sign a defender and a
goalkeeper depending on funds available after the signing of their top
targets.
I just can't wait to see new players coming into Arsenal in the next few days.
