Arsenal set to complete second signing of the Summer ?

If reports coming from France are true, Arsenal are close to completing the signing of French club Sochaux’s Sebastien Corchia. Earlier this summer, it was reported that Arsenal have had scouts to watch the high rated right back with the intention of making a move for the player but nothing came out of the rumoured transfer.
Months later, having been frustrated in the transfer market so far, Arsenal are now said to be back for the defender and are very keen to actually acquire his signature this time around. Sebastien Corchia is seen as the long term target for Bacary Sagna who is in the last year of his contract and hasn’t agreed to sign a new long term deal. Aside Arsenal, Tottenham are also keenly watching the 22-year-old.
Corchia was born on November 1, 1990. He started his career with French Amateur club Rosny-sous-Bois in 1996. He signed for Sochaux who are is his current club on 30 June 2011 after spending a season playing with Le Mans in the second division.
