Arsenal fans send Angry letter to Arsenal Board

Angry Arsenal fans have written to chief executive Ivan Gazidis to demand a change to the club’s transfer policy after Arsene Wenger’s team were beaten by Aston Villa on the opening day of the season.
Villa’s 3-1 win at the Emirates triggered an outpouring of frustration from those Arsenal supporters disillusioned with the direction of the club under Stan Kroenke.
Arsenal have a healthy bank balance, record huge profits and boast of a £70million transfer chest yet, despite making noises to the contrary, they have so far failed to compete with Europe’s richest clubs at the top end of the transfer market.

Officials at the club ask to judged when the transfer window closes on September 2 but the Barclays Premier League season is under way and Wenger’s only summer signing is 20-year-old striker Yaya Sanogo, a free transfer from Auxerre.
Sanogo stated on the bench against Villa as Christian Benteke, another centre-forward who requested a transfer from Villa Park this summer before deciding to stay, but would have proved far more expensive, scored twice.
The Gunners may have felt they were the victims of some disputed decisions but the Villa game heightened fears about the campaign ahead and re-opened the splits between those fans who remain Wenger loyalists and those who have severe concerns and demand change.
