Guessing from Rumours, the said players may well be Lars Bender and Wayne Rooney. Lars Bender was linked to Arsenal in the German media yesterday with reports claiming we are preparing an offer of 23 million pounds for the high rated Bayern Leverkusen midfielder. Arsenal had had a bid of 19 million Euros rejected for the German man earlier this summer.
Wayne Rooney may also be one of the players Sky sports claim we are negotiating for.Mirror reported earlier in the week that Arsenal are set to put in another bid for the Manchester United and England striker. It was reported then that Arsenal feel encouraged by the fact that Manchester United are reluant to sell to Chelsea who they see as a direct rival.
