Fantastic news have been flowing around twitter and internet regarding Arsenal’s second signing of the season with rumors flowing that Arsene Wenger has agreed to sign the Morrocan midfielder Alharbi El Jadeyaoui who has impressed the Arsenal coaches after a two days trial at the club this week.
The Moroccan midfielder arrived on Tuesday from French second division outfit Angers to begin his two-day trial after the 27-year-old supposedly caught the boss’ eye with some fine displays last season. Regarding that, Twitter was full of tweets by the Gunners’ fan base on the signing.
Now the only issue with this transfer has been is that it is definitely not the big money signing Arsenal fans have been waiting for in fact this signing will take this piss because signing a player on a free or on a minimal transfer when The Gunners have at least a transfer kitty of 70m is not justified for their aim of landing the Premier League next season. It’s another typical Arsene Wenger signing.
For those of you who care, El Jadeyaoui is a left-footed attacker who can play anywhere across the midfield, and after representing France at Under-21 level he chose to represent Morocco at senior international level. The problem is that he can’t have any impact next season or may be for two three seasons as he is pretty young and needs some development. But let’s not judge him and him wish him luck as he might turn out to be one of the classiest players to play for Arsenal in the future.
