8. Aaron Ramsey – £90k p/w

The Welsh International has signed a new contract this year, bolstering his previous contract from £50,000 per week to £90,000 per week. The 23 year old started the season as Arsenal’s best player and Arsenal’s season arguably went downhill when Ramsey got his injury. He finished the season with four Arsenal Player of the Month of awards, one Premier League Player of the Month award and the Arsenal Player of the Season award. As if that wasn’t enough, Ramsey was placed in the Barclays Premier League XI for the season. A well deserved £90,000 a week.
